A wedding at the 1912 Barn in Niantic, Illinois.
This couple has so much love for each other, and it made my job so easy! These two were laughing together the entire day, creating the most natural candid shots – talk about a wedding photographers dream!
This gorgeous June wedding day started with my second shooter and I meeting the bride and bridesmaids at the Northfield Inn and Suites in Springfield as that is where they were getting ready. From here, we ventured out to the 1912 Barn where we spent the whole wedding day. This particular day was extremely hot. I’m talking 98 degrees out. No one besides my second shooter and I knew this, but I was about 8 weeks pregnant at this wedding and it definitely added an element of challenge to this day! I hadn’t told anyone about my pregnancy as it was still so early, but man am I glad I avoided passing out from that heat in front of everyone!
Their wedding ceremony was FILLED with laughs and beautiful personal touches about the couple. There absolutely was not a dry eye in the crowd. I personally loved getting to witness these two tie the knot! They are/were a dream couple for me to get to photograph and I was so honored to be a part of their wedding day!
