This May wedding day took place at Hamilton’s Catering in Jacksonville, Illinois. Our team had never shot at this venue before, so we were excited to experience a new place !

I was able to work with Josh and Allison prior to their wedding day, which made it even more special to me! During their engagement session a couple months prior, I was able to get to know them and their little guy better. Anytime I get to work with a couple before their actual wedding day, I am thankful because it helps build a relationship between my couple and I – which is SO IMPORTANT because I am usually the person the spend the most time with on their wedding day! I definitely already felt like I knew them well and that they were friends by the time we got to this special day for them.

Their wedding ceremony was filled with so many laughs, but also so many sweet tears. I am pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd! Hearing more about Josh and Allison’s love story gave me the background to the amazingly strong and beautiful relationship I had gotten to witness. Their day was filled with so many little moments of laughs and everyone around them was just beaming of happiness for these two.
